Accounts

Yes, Sygnum offers traditional bank accounts (current accounts) in CHF, EUR, USD and SGD.

Sygnum supports all common payment standards like SIC (Swiss Interbank Clearing), euroSIC, SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) and SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).

Sygnum's BIC (Bank Identifier Code), also referred to as SWIFT-Code or SWIFT-BIC, is: SYGNCHZZ. It shall be used together with the recipient's IBAN, name and address for all SWIFT and SEPA payments made to Sygnum.

Incoming cash payments are free of charge. For outgoing cash payments private clients will be charged between 10 and 50 CHF depending on the type of payment.

Custody

As per Go-Live, Sygnum offers Custody Services for the two largest protocol tokens (based on market capitalisation) Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). Digital assets need to pass Sygnum's proprietary digital asset risk assessment funnel in order to be eligible for the Sygnum banking platform. Sygnum will further expand the offering over time with Ripple (XRP) being in the pipeline to ensure coverage of more than 80% of total market capitalization in the protocol token space. In parallel, Sygnum is developing Custody Services for a Digital CHF token as well as equity tokens.

Sygnum offers two types of military-grade secure wallets: Segregated and Vault wallets. Segregated wallets are comparable to day-to-day current accounts allowing to perform any type of transaction at any point in time, while Vault wallets are comparable to savings accounts with limited types of transactions being possible.

For the military-grade custody solution private clients will be charged between 40 basis points (bps) and 60 bps per annum depending on the volume of their digital assets held at Sygnum.

Yes, Sygnum accepts deposits and withdrawals in BTC and ETH. All transactions are subject to a screening through Sygnum's proprietary digital assets screening tool.

Private clients will be charged 10 bps on the size of the transaction and on a transaction-by-transaction basis.

Brokerage

As per Go-Live, Sygnum is offering the following trading pairs: BTC/CHF, BTC/EUR, BTC/USD, BTC/SGD, ETH/CHF, ETH/EUR, ETH/USD and ETH/SGD. In case you would like to directly trade BTC against ETH and vice versa, please contact our Brokerage desk on +41 (0)58 508 21 21.

Due to its very particular setup Sygnum is able to offer nearly instantaneous settlement. The settlement time is primarily depending on the block time of the respective protocol.

Private clients will be charged between 70 bps and 90 bps depending on the size of the trade and on a transaction-by-transaction basis.

Tokenization

Sygnum believes in the long-term value of asset tokenization. Initially, Sygnum is focusing on the tokenization of equity from corporates/SMEs incorporated in Switzerland. In parallel, Sygnum is exploring options to tokenize debt, funds, real estate, commodities, arts and others.
