What type of credit cards are available?

Sygnum offers CHF, EUR and USD credit cards for both private individuals and corporate entities. Private individuals can choose between Silver, Gold cards from Visa or Mastercard and Platinum cards from Visa with distinct benefits, such as insurance and rewards points.

Corporate entities can choose between Business or Corporate Mastercard with Silver or Gold benefits that include insurance and turnover discounts. Details for these cards are available here.

May I hold multiple Sygnum credit cards?

Yes, it is possible to hold multiple credit cards for corporate or currency needs. Sygnum offers CHF, EUR and USD credit cards for both private individuals and corporate entities. Information about the currencies and cards is available here.

How do I add a Sygnum credit card to my mobile wallets?

To add the Sygnum credit card to your mobile wallet, is possible in three steps:

1. Ddownload the Viseca One App on your mobile phone.

2. Register in the Viseca One App.

3. Then add Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay from within the app via the cCard overview tab.

Why are no cryptocurrencies available for the Sygnum credit card?

The Sygnum credit card offering is provided by Viseca, a major Swiss card provider. Currently, Viseca does not offer crypto as means of payment. Sygnum clients can set up automated payments from their crypto or fiat holdings with Sygnum using the Sygnum banking platform to pay their CHF, EUR or USD credit card balances.

Why is SGD not available with the Sygnum credit card?

The Sygnum credit card offering is provided by Viseca, a major Swiss card provider. Currently, Viseca does not offer SGD credit cards. Sygnum clients can set up automated payments from their crypto or fiat holdings with Sygnum using the Sygnum banking platform to pay their CHF, EUR or USD credit card balances.

What interest is charged with a Sygnum credit card?

Credit card interest rates for private individuals are as follows:
• 12% annualised interest rate for arrears until 31 April, 2024. This rate increases to 13% on 1 May, 2024
• 2.5% processing fee for Silver card transactions in foreign currencies
• 1.75% processing fee for Gold and Platinum card transactions in foreign currencies

Credit card interest rates for corporate entities are as follows:
• 14.93% annualised interest rate for arrears
• 1.5% processing fee for transactions in foreign currencies

Viseca reserves the right to change the applicable fees.

What are the Sygnum credit card payment terms?

Credit card invoices are due at the end of each month without any additional charges, and full payment is required within 3 months.

Credit card interest rates for private individuals are as follows:

• 2.5% processing fee for Silver card transactions in foreign currencies

How do I check my credit card remaining limit and charges?

The remaining credit card balance, limit and charges for your Sygnum credit card are available using the Viseca one app. Login online or downloading and logging into the mobile one app. More information and access to login or get the app is available here from Viseca. You will need a registration code to login to the app for the first time. This is sent to you separately after you receive your card.

What type of accounts does Sygnum offer to clients?

Sygnum offers clients both fiat and digital asset accounts, seamlessly integrated in one e-banking solution. Sygnum supports the following fiat currencies: CHF, EUR, USD and SGD with additional fiat currencies available on request. What fees does Sygnum charge for incoming and outgoing cash payments?

What fees does Sygnum charge for custody services? 

For Sygnum’s multi-level secure custody, clients are charged in basis points (bps) per annum depending on the volume of their digital assets held at Sygnum. For questions and prices, please see our private and corporate price list.

What is Sygnum’s BIC (SWIFT-Code) for transferring cash to a Sygnum account? 

Sygnum’s BIC (Bank Identifier Code), also referred to as our SWIFT-Code or SWIFT-BIC, is SYGNCHZZ. It Sygnum’s BIC (Bank Identifier Code), also referred to as our SWIFT-Code or SWIFT-BIC, is SYGNCHZZ. This can be used together with the recipient’s IBAN, name and address for all SWIFT and SEPA payments made to Sygnum. 

Can I deposit fiat currency with Sygnum?

Yes, you can deposit CHF, EUR, USD and SGD in Sygnum accounts using SWIFT and SEPA payment systems.

Which payment methods does Sygnum support? 

Sygnum supports all common payment standards including SIC (Swiss Interbank Clearing), euroSIC, SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) and SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication). 

Can I deposit crypto assets into my Sygnum account?

Yes, you can deposit your cryptocurrencies at Sygnum. Please find the full list of accepted cryptocurrency deposit types here.

Can digital assets be withdrawn from a Sygnum wallet? 

You can withdraw or make payments with digital assets by withdrawing funds from your Sygnum e-banking platform and sending it to external wallets you own. Please note that when funds are sent to a wallet you own for the first time, transactions need to be verified by Sygnum’s proprietary digital asset screening tool.

This transaction verification by the bank is performed during business hours from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 17:00 CET. The transferred assets cannot be disposed of until the respective transaction has been verified.

Does Sygnum offer different types of digital asset wallets? 

Yes, Sygnum offers two types of wallets for tokens: trading and vault. The trading wallet includes a comprehensive set of trading features, with the vault wallet typically used for holding funds and includes additional security elements.
