Swisscom is the leading ICT company in Switzerland, and a key IT infrastructure provider for the financial industry. They support regulated financial institutions in digitisation and one of their central fields is digital asset services.

Together, Swisscom and Sygnum are building secure, institutional-grade technology for the digital asset ecosystem.

Central Banks created money might become less important in its actual function and could be partly replaced by highly liquid, digital assets.

The daura platform tokenizes shares and participation certificates of companies, enabling digital and automatic maintenance of share registries on a ledger, as well as access to global investors for SMEs and startups.

daura is a joint venture between SIX, Swisscom, Sygnum and selected individual investors. SIX operates the infrastructure for the Swiss financial centre and is building fully integrated market infrastructure for digital assets in the form of SIX Digital Exchange (SDX).

The biggest beneficiaries of a functioning digital asset ecosystem are ultimately investors and companies. Shares of Swiss SMEs can be tokenized in just a few hours and transferred and settled almost in real time in the partner network.
