Secure key management

The technology for Sygnum’s custody is built with a multi-layered security approach, both across hardware and software, as well as processes and governance – maximising security of private keys. The key ceremony has been ISAE 3000 audited.


This eliminates the administrative requirement for clients to secure and maintain their private keys and allows them to invest in digital assets with complete trust.

Sygnum AML

All digital assets are screened through Sygnum's proprietary AML tool, designed specifically for Sygnum's digital asset offering and fully compliant with Swiss regulatory frameworks and industry best practices. In this way, our robust compliance makes digital assets fully bankable.

Staking as a Service - ETH 2.0

Staking is essentially assigning tokens to validate transactions on a proof-of-stake network in exchange for a reward. This means for Ethereum 2.0 that by staking a minimum of 32 ETH, rewards are paid out in the form of newly created ETH. Sygnum offers ETH 2.0 Staking-as-a-Service that is conveniently integrated into our ebanking portal.
