Technology Advisor

Professor David Lee is a Technology Advisor for Sygnum. He is a professor at Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS) and Co-Founder of BlockAsset and Left Coast.

He is active in the digital asset industry and serves as an advisor to several blockchain organisations, He is also a Non-Executive Director of two Singapore-listed companies. Professor David Lee was previously the Director of the Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics at Singapore Management University and a visiting Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University.

He was the Group Managing Director of OUE, member of the SGX Security Committee and MAS Financial Research Council. His experience spans hedge funds, stock brokering, property management, property development, REITs, listing and de-listing of companies, start-ups and multinationals.

Professor David Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science as well as a PhD in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Professor David Lee is the editor of The Handbook of Digital Currency published by Elsevier (awarded Most Outstanding Business Reference Sources by the American Library Association) and author of Emergence of Fintech and The LASIC Principles published by EY’s Journal of Financial Perspectives.
